Meet Dr. Karen

I knew at a very early age that I had a special gift of helping others to heal. Trying to find an outlet for this expression, I chose the field of Chiropractic, or should I say chiropractic chose me. I believe and trust everything that chiropractic stands for: it is a less invasive way of healing the body, mind and spirit; it works because the body knows how to heal itself, if we just allow it to by removing the interference. At the age of 25, I began my study on the undergraduate level and then at the graduate level, while I was a single mom of two, and graduated with a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree. My specialty is the health of pregnant women, infants and children. I studied everything I could about the major systems in the body and how they are all connected; nutrition, both supplements and food, and the effects they had on the body; women and children’s health and quantum energy. I found my true calling in women and children’s health. I am certified by the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, an additional year of study beyond the DC degree.

Dr. Karen's contribution is entitled Peaks and Valleys. In her chapter, Dr. Karen offers a simple explanation of why our lives seem to fluctuate and how it is the natural rhythm of navigating along our path.
